Friends to lovers and a Bi awakening is what you get in this story. I really didn’t know how this would go down seeing as Wolfe dated Archangel sister and she broke his heart. Meanwhile Archangel has had a crush on Wolfe for years. Of course why not complicate things and fake date each other. Trust the process ! Their friendship is truly genuine and sweet. These two had some denials going on and you are rooting for a HEA the whole time.
This is book two in this series of the Chicago Colts and it does not disappoint. Brothers best friend and add a pregnancy in there and let’s go! If you read the first book we learned that Callie was pregnant and left us wondering who was the daddy?? Well yes Foster is the one! These two are so funny because Callie is very independent and has her own hangups as does Foster who does not warm anyone’s bed more than for a wham bam. Everything gets a little complicated because Fosters best friend and teammate is Callie brother(from book 1). Again I am a lover of this duo writing powerhouse because the character they create are so down to earth and they all will have you laughing. Yes there is a HEA but you know it is never easy. Watch Foster fall ladies!!

Book 3 in the series and we have a little dark romance sprinkled with some suspense. Wylder is the oldest of the Buckinghams and the leader of The Firm. Neo is best friends with Wylder brother in law and we see Neo and Wylder interact in book 2. Neo presses Wylder buttons like no one else can and you start to see him questioning himself. This is a bit of a slow burn and for me I felt like Neo sometimes dragged things out a bit but then the story really took a turn for me . Overall the brothers are funny and the dinners and the “girlfriend” situation is hilarious.

Another hit from Natasha Madison! It’s hard to choose a favorite because then she comes out with another release and another great hero! Knox uggghhh was absolutely a complete package! My heart broke for him on how wrong his wife was and couldn’t wait to see how Kylie was going to patch him up. Kylie was a boss! Her confidence and snarky attitude was the best for Knox. This is a team mates sister so it was a little complicated and also add in Knox dealing with having to trust again and the road to their HEA was a good one! The spice level was definitely spicy! This was a great read but it is Natasha so I definitely didn’t doubt that it would be a 5⭐️!

Final book in this series and you will find an age gap, coach’s daughter trope. There is a 9year difference but I didn’t see a major difference. Tallulah and Flip have the same friend group and Flip plays for the Terror hockey team. Tally is in college and dealing with her parents divorce and Flip is redeeming himself and trying to change his image. She has had a crush on Flip for awhile and she is determined to let him know. Can there be a HEA or will it be complicated? Like I said Tally is young but there was a maturity to her character. I liked the banter between these two and seeing Flip in the other books I was happy to see him really caring and glad that I got to see more of his personality. Both sides have issues especially with her dad being his coach. Spice level was a 4 out of 5 .
