This is a new series from Kat and we have Callahan who is rich and happens to be Lucy’s exes brother! Yes that is correct. I was interested in how this would go. Callahan has a strong presence and he exudes confidence, sexy and rich. Lucy runs into him and from the start you can tell that there is intrigue. Lucy is trying to get her life in a row. Cooking is her passion and Callahan knows how to hook her in. This is a slow burn as she does not fall so easily. This book had a great balance of spice and good banter. I think it is a great start to the series and if you read it you will get a hint to who is next. Good read

This is a first in the Mountain Men series and we are off to a good start. I do love SJ Tilly writing style so I was excited for this one. Sterling is waiting to meet his new employee that will do maintenance and instead of Court you have Courtney. He is not warm and fuzzy but he is sexy and infuriating! This book was a quick read and light in the angst department. I enjoyed this light read. I am interested if this will be the same for all in the series but I do recommend.

Hands down this is my favorite book in this series and I gave it five stars even though I had a minor hang up. Everleigh is back in town after her mom has a health issue and she helps to take care of the bakery. It’s been 9years since she had the worst heartbreak with the love of her life. Brock is a single dad now and work across the way from the bakery. 9years ago Brock and Everleigh was what everybody thought as the forever couple. Here in present day there is love and hate and Natasha breaks our hearts and then smashes our hearts and then she will slowly piece you back together! This story is emotional and it stems from the friend group who their lives all changed on a night where an accident caused drama! At first I feel for Everleigh because her seeing Brock with his daughter for the first time will have you in your feels! These two have to work through their demons and try to navigate a HEA but at first it doesn’t seem possible! My hang up was I felt at times it was a bit busy is what I will say but I will tell you it is a struggle for these two! My heart is put back together now but man this was worth it!

This was a new author to me so I was excited to read. I love a cowboy romance and add in a bi awakening and I was all in. Finn is a single daddy to cute little Tucker who needs a nanny. Enter Ash who happens to be Finn ex girlfriend brother… yep very interesting. They are both opposites but you know what they say opposites attract . Finn has never fallen for a guy so the feelings he gets from Ash is different and confusing. This is low angst but a cute romance with some spice. I am open to seeing how book 2 will be.

MM biawakening Sports romance Rugby sports very different but all the same. This was a friends to lovers and Bi awakening. Jonny and Devon are friends one has had feelings for the other knowing that his friend would probably not feel the same way. this story was low angst which I liked, but for me, the connection felt off. I liked part of the book, but there were parts that felt a disconnect so to speak. The sexy scenes were entertaining, and Johnny does have to deal with his overwhelming feelings that he gets now when his friend starts dating. I did like the friendship that they had and all the side characters and teammates of Jonny. I will say it was not my favorite book so far, but it was not bad book either. I would still recommend this book.

I was introduced to Brogan and Maddox who have mutual friends and both have been longing for each other but no one has made the step . Fate has a funny way of changing your course and one night in Vegas and these two will now have to face reality. Six months is what Maddox asks for and I was rooting that he could find his HEA with Brogan. It was low angst and fast paced but I liked the dynamic with the two characters. I would recommend and excited to catch up on the series.

I have enjoyed this series but I will say that this one was not at the top of the list for me. Parker and Anya have a fake relationship and both have had life issues sort to speak. Anya has a cheating ex sports man that has left her a bit scarred and Parker has issues from his father’s death that he has to deal with. At times it was a little emotional and there is an obstacle that gets thrown in their way that threw me back a bit but we went with it. Spicy times were good and Parker knows his way around a female. The story was a bit stagnant at times for me but I would still recommend! 3.5 ⭐️
