In this book we see Brynlee and Deacon journey which was different path. Brynlee has had a crush on Deacon but now they are reacquainted. It’s cute to see their friendship turn to a fake marriage and see how things develop. These two have serious chemistry and everytime Deacon called her his Wife just had me melting. I loved seeing him with his daughter that just really amped up his cuteness. This group was funny and really added to the story. Brynlee has a secret that she wars with coming to grip with but it adds the emotional vibe that is through the story. I have loved each book in this series!

This is a new author to me and for this read I had seen the blurb and was trying to prepare myself before hand knowing that the forbidden love was a sensitive situation. Meeting Boone at first made me feel for him and his situation with Jade and all of their emotions. Grady seems like a young great guy who loves his sister and has idolized his brother in law. This story is a slow burn as the author lays the groundwork of Boones failing marriage. Forbidden love to the 100th power and it was a bit sticky to me and I had a lot of emotions. First I was team Jade then I was like Go Boone and Grady but it was hard. This story in the context of Only thinking about Boone and Grady is beautiful and raw. Forbidden , age gap and bi awakening all just hits all the feels. The situation of why it was forbidden was a bit harder for me to swallow. In the end there is a HEA and I was happy for the couple and bad for Jade.

Book #3 and we are back in Sterling Falls, where I must say is a pretty cool town😁 Ford and Cadence are both famous people with their own demons to fight. One night that Ford lets go and he is questioning his life the next day when he meets Cadence, only they met before…. Meet cute meter is 10/10! Cadence ends up spending time with Ford girls and the journey starts to evolve. These two chemistry was off the charts. The family and friends in Sterling is a great compliment to the story. This is my favorite couple by far! They both are jaded a bit when it comes to love so it’s great to see these two heal together. This is a five star read from the Cover, to the characters, to the plot and all the way till the end! There is some singing and baseball sprinkled in to really bring it all together like a great recipe! This is a must read!
