My first time reading a Sierra Hill book and of course it’s a Hockey romance. Ballas and Karis have a one night stand and Karis leaves without saying goodbye. Fast forward to Ballas seeing how his future on his NHL team will look like, when surprise there is a new owner in town. Moving forward how will these two be able to work together when that steamy night is wild in their minds? I loved that Karis is this power woman of this team which was refreshing to see. I loved Ballas where he was sexy and sweet. Sports is definitely a theme in this story and I am all for it. This was book 1 in this series so ready for what comes next!

Hannah was a strong character and who doesn’t love to see a playboy fall hard? Overall great read and can’t wait to see what is next for this series!

This was an emotional read and had a lot of feels! Darcy and Wren come face to face at their father’s funeral. Wren is the estranged child and Darcey is next in line as heir to the business. The emotions of knowing that your dad had a whole other family while you missed out on those times is a lot for Wren and then add in now meeting his estranged brothers and there is a lot of tension! Darcey and Wren share a connection from the start that catches both of them by surprise. Feelings start to change and things start to look very different. These two were wonderful to read. I loved Darcey and his take control attitude. Wren is strong minded and sexy. There are some twists and secrets underlying and I went in thinking the story was going to go one way and surprised at how wrong I was. Great read!

New series from Laura Pavlov and it’s a sports romance. This is set in Magnolia Falls and there are so many things to fall in love with in this book. The characters are well formed from Romeo who own the boxing gym in town, and Demi who owns the shop next door. They are from two different worlds or so Romeo thinks and with past issues with her family it is easy to say Romeo is not a fan of Demi from the beginning. Poor Demi is confused as to why her grumpy neighbor dislikes her. There is some family drama sprinkled into this story along with the pressure of some ego boxer trying to egg on Romeo. There was a bit too much going on at one point but the overall story was a great read. Romeo and Demi had great banter and I loved her feistiness. The side characters add definite charm and laughter. Boxing was a new aspect in a read for me but loved it all the same. Great intro to this series can’t wait to see who is next!
