This story had several tropes that reeled me in like second chance, surprise pregnancy sports romance. Nova and Wes meet again when Wes is playing a big game in his career. That night changes things for both of them. Problem with these two they live in two different countries. They have some things working against them. Nova is strong minded and really family driven. So there a lot of emotions that you see with the pregnancy and having Wes around. Wes was hands down so possessive and boyfriend/baby daddy worthy in this story. He really went out of his way to show Nova he wanted to be in their lives. This was a great second chance romance that you won’t want to miss.

My first time reading a Sierra Hill book and of course it’s a Hockey romance. Ballas and Karis have a one night stand and Karis leaves without saying goodbye. Fast forward to Ballas seeing how his future on his NHL team will look like, when surprise there is a new owner in town. Moving forward how will these two be able to work together when that steamy night is wild in their minds? I loved that Karis is this power woman of this team which was refreshing to see. I loved Ballas where he was sexy and sweet. Sports is definitely a theme in this story and I am all for it. This was book 1 in this series so ready for what comes next!

The emotions of knowing that your dad had a whole other family while you missed out on those times is a lot for Wren and then add in now meeting his estranged brothers and there is a lot of tension! Darcey and Wren share a connection from the start that catches both of them by surprise. Feelings start to change and things start to look very different. These two were wonderful to read. I loved Darcey and his take control attitude. Wren is strong minded and sexy. There are some twists and secrets underlying and I went in thinking the story was going to go one way and surprised at how wrong I was. Great read!
