The book that we have all been waiting for is here and did not disappoint. Calista and Rylan have always had this chemistry simmering and if you have read the series you will know what I am saying. We have seen in the background these two evolve and you saw bits and pieces so I was excited to see the whole journey play out. They both have had careers in soccer until Calista gets sidelined with an injury. You see her struggle with no longer being able to play professionally and it causes issues between her and Rylan. I felt like Calista really had some inner wars with herself that she needed to workout and heal from. I loved seeing all the side characters as the two families are big and they totally add so much humor to the story! Oh Dori! All I will say was I teared up a little reading her name. This book does take you on a little emotional roller coaster with some blast from the past scenes from past books that I enjoyed. The HEA is definitely worth the wait.
